Shelley was born and raised in Sacramento, California. After high school she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Rhetoric and Writing Studies from San Diego State University, San Diego, graduating in 2020.

Shelley then earned her law degree from the University of Pacific McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California. While in law school, Shelley interned at Wagner Kirkman Blaine Klomparens & Youmans LLP and the McGeorge Elder Law clinic, where she gained valuable experience in Estate Planning.

After graduating law school, Shelley married her high school sweetheart and moved to the central coast. When she is not at the office, she spends her time with her husband exploring their beautiful new home.
