Attorney, Of Counsel

A native of Philadelphia, Ellen earned her B.A. in Psychology from Temple University and graduated from Villanova University School of Law with her Juris Doctor. In 1996 she moved to the Central Coast and joined Kirk & Simas as an associate attorney, eventually joining the management team as a shareholder. After a hiatus from her law practice to raise her family, she returned to the firm as Of Counsel in 2023 with a focus on Estate Planning and Administration.

Ellen has served on the board at Boys & Girls Club of Mid Central Coast; she currently is the President and Trustee of the Governing Board of Bellevue Santa-Fe Charter School as well as Secretary and Trustee of the Avila Beach Community Foundation.

Ellen lives in See Canyon with her husband, Tony, who is a practicing oral and maxillofacial surgeon. When she’s not at the office she spends her time with her family, hiking the beautiful trails of our area, trying to keep up with her husband on their road biking adventures, or looking for book or travel recommendations.
