Scott McAninch is a Central Coast native and holds a B.S. in Forestry and Natural Resource Management from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and his law degree from Golden Gate University School of Law. During law school, he worked as a law clerk in a business law firm where he spent his time assisting a non-profit organization revise their bylaws. Additionally, he was the Regional Environmental Intern with the U.S. Department of the Interior where he worked on environmental matters in California, Nevada, Arizona, and Hawaii. Scott was also a writer and editor for the Golden Gate University Environmental Law Journal.
Following law school, Mr. McAninch worked as an attorney with a boutique environmental law firm in Santa Barbara where his work focused on civil litigation with respect to the remediation and clean-up of contaminated real estate. Scott’s practice includes real estate, business, civil litigation, and environmental matters.
