Again in 2009, shareholder Kathy Patton was one of the key volunteers for the Mini Rodeo for kids that is part of the annual Elks Rodeo. The highlights always are the "mutton bust'n" and awards for the best look'n cow pokes that she organizes. She also works on the grandstand ushers / ticketing committees and BBQ's for her volunteer crews.
Kathy recruits a crew of current and former KIRK & SIMAS attorneys, staff, family, clients and friends to lend her a hand running the mutton bust'n. The firm also sponsors an arena billboard.
The Elks Rodeo is one of the premier events on the professional rodeo tour and over its 60 year history has raised millions of dollars for youth recreation in our community.
Kirk & Simas is rooted just as deeply in the community and is proud of Kathy's and our staff's annual contribution to the four day event's success.
