Elks Rodeo - 2007

For several years, shareholder Kathy Patton has been actively involved with the Elks Rodeo held in early June of each year. In 2006, she won the grand prize in the annual barbeque cookoff, but her first love always has been the Mini Rodeo for kids which features both "mutton bust'n" and a best dressed cowgirl and cowboy contest.

This year, Kathy wrangled several other members of the KIRK & SIMAS team into working with her on the Mini Rodeo as well as at the regular rodeo performances. The firm also sponsored an arena billboard.

The Elks Rodeo has been a major community event for over 60 years and KIRK & SIMAS has roots that go back just as deeply.

Each year the four day rodeo and parade celebration brings thousands of tourists to town and raises many tens of thousands of dollars that ultimately are distributed back across the Central Coast community for youth recreation programs.

Everyone at the firm is proud of Kathy's contribution and is proud to do its part in making it a success.
